•  To register for submission, please email confirmation of payment to: TBC
•  1 submission: £10.00 / 2 submissions: £15 (2 submissions per artist maximum)
•  Payment by BACS transfer to be made to: TBC

• Deadline for all submissions - Midday, Friday 1st May 2026  
• Notification to all artists - Saturday 9th  May 2026
• Delivery of all accepted work - 10am – 1pm, Thurs 28th – Sat 30th  May

• Private Preview - 6pm – 8pm, Friday 26th June

• Summer Exhibition: Bodies of Water

               Saturday 27th  June – Saturday 8th August

• Deadline for collection of all unsold work - 4pm, Friday 14th August

• Submissions must relate to the theme of the show: Bodies of Water
• All work submitted must be for sale
• Images of submissions must be well-lit, clear, and high resolution (min. 300dpi)
• Include: Title of work, dimensions in CM, medium and price (including Gallery’s commission of 30%)

Please note: the sizes given must include frames or platforms/stands

• 1 wall-based work only: No larger than: 70 x 70cm 
• 2 wall-based works: No larger than: 1) 90 x 70cm 2) 50 x 50cm
• 1 plinth/floor-based work: No larger than: 70 x 70cm
• 2 plinth/floor-based works: No larger than: 1) 90 x 70cm  2) 50 x 50cm max.

• Successful applicants will be notified by Saturday 9th May 2026
• Prices of shown work will be available to view with the work and online
• Shown work for sale by the artist will be subject to a 30% commission charge.
• All sales and transactions regarding shown work will be handled by SQ Gallery.
• All payments received for shown work will be received by SQ Gallery.

• The artist is solely responsible for delivering and collecting their work.
• Work must be delivered between these dates and times only: 

               10am – 1pm, Thurs 28th – Sat 30th May

• Work can be delivered via courier, provided it arrives between the day times shown in the schedule.
• The Gallery is unable to arrange the return of any work via courier/delivery services at this time.
• Any uncollected unsold work remaining after 14th August will be subject to a daily storage fee of £2. If the work has not been collected 6 months after this date, it becomes the property and responsibility of SQ Gallery.

The Panel will select a variety of work from the open call to feature within the Summer Exhibition: Bodies of Water. The Panel’s selection decision is final.

The SQ Gallery Team will be responsible for curation and hanging.

SQ Gallery reserves the right to remove work or an artist from the Summer Show at any time, if deemed necessary for any reason.

Artist(s) are responsible for insurance against all risks, and fully indemnify SQ Gallery against all actions, claims, demands with regards personal injury or property damage, and all property and financial loss as a result of any action or omission by the artist(s).

SQ will not be held liable for any damage, loss or theft of artwork or personal items of the artist(s) or any third party during the period of the Summer Show.

Any artworks that are shown with SQ Gallery, remain the sole responsibility of the artist or lender. All rights of subrogation are to be waived against SQ Gallery by showing parties.
